As with all our screening kits, for any jeopardy situation involving someone's career or livelihood we still recommend a fully-approved breathalyzer such as the Dräeger 6510, however if the device is being used as a pre-screener (and actual guilt - or otherwise - is confirmed with either an approved device or blood/urine test) then the AL7000 screening kit can significantly reduce costs.

The AL7000 has been approved by the US DoT as an ASD (Alcohol Screening Device) and as such is ideally suited to such situations.

Replaceable Sensor - no need to return for calibration and servicing
All breathalyser sensors require calibrating at least once a year, however instead of returning the unit to us for calibration in our workshops the Premium uses a patent-pending PRISM (Pre-calibrated Replaceable Intelligent Sensor Module) Sensor that can be changed by the user. With the unique easy-replace sensor panel, module replacement takes just a few seconds!

The advantage is continuous availability on-site for testing, however we would strongly recommend at least bi-annual checkups in our workshops to ensure that the device is still operating at peak efficiency.
