The AlcoHAWK® PT500 is the newest, patented, cutting edge, breakthrough unit in Q3's handheld AlcoHAWK® Series line of breath alcohol testers. It incorporates the PT Core™ fuel-cell sensor to help eliminate false positives and offer enhanced linear accuracy over traditional semi-conductor sensors. The simple menu-driven operation allows you to quickly and accurately screen for the presence of alcohol up to 0.400% BAC.

PT CoreT Fuel-cell Sensor Technology The PT CoreT sensor offers many advantages over semi-conductor based technologies such as:

Alarm Point: The unit will read “High” if the BAC reading exceeds the alarm point setting. The default setting is 0.020% BAC. You can change the alarm point from between 0.020%-0.080% BAC.

Temperature Scale: This option allows you to switch between Celsius (C) and Fahrenheit (F) for the temperature display.

Blowing Time: You can adjust the blowing time from 3 to 8 seconds. (The default setting is 5 seconds)
