The AlcoHAWK®
PT500 is the newest, patented, cutting edge, breakthrough unit
in Q3's handheld AlcoHAWK® Series line of breath alcohol
testers. It incorporates the PT Core™ fuel-cell sensor to
help eliminate false positives and offer enhanced linear
accuracy over traditional semi-conductor sensors. The simple
menu-driven operation allows you to quickly and accurately
screen for the presence of alcohol up to 0.400% BAC.
The AlcoHAWK®
PT500 also features a large, easy-to-read back-lit LCD display.
The AlcoHAWK® PT500 is the entry-level unit for screening, corrections, probation officers, substance
abuse clinics, boating, military, and many other areas of
professional testing in which fuel-cell accuracy and reliability

Customisable Menu System
The advanced menu system of the PT500 allows
you to customise it to your own preferences:
Alarm Point:
The unit will read “High” if the BAC reading exceeds the alarm point
setting. The default setting is 0.020% BAC. You can change the alarm
point from between 0.020%-0.080% BAC.
Temperature Scale:
This option allows you to switch between Celsius (C) and Fahrenheit (F)
for the temperature display.
Blowing Time:
You can adjust the blowing time from 3 to 8 seconds. (The
default setting is 5 seconds)

Quick Start Guide
Display Units: Use this option to change the unit of alcohol
concentration shown for tests. You can choose between %BAC (U.S.A), g/L,
mg/l, or Promile (0/00). The default setting is % BAC.
